Sonus faber has introduced an entirely new line of loudspeakers called the Toy series. These loudspeakers continue the Sonus faber tradition of combining beautiful sound quality with elegant styling. The Toy Monitor is a compact bookshelf speaker selling for $1298 per pair. It is a two-way design with the beautifully contoured appearance we have come to expect from the venerable, Italian craftsmanship of Sonus faber. The enclosure is completely clad in black leather and contains a high-performance ring radiator tweeter and a cellulose cone midrange/bass driver. The Toy Monitor can produce musical dynamics and frequency extension that belie its small physical size. The Toy Tower loudspeaker ($2750 per pair) is a small, floor standing three-way design with cosmetics that match the Toy Monitor. The Toy Tower's svelte appearance and small footprint make it ideal for delivering high quality sound in small to medium sized living spaces. Employing a high-performance ring radiator tweeter, a cellulose cone midrange driver, and a Nomex cone woofer, the Toy Tower can reproduce the wide dynamics and frequency response necessary for authentic music and film sound reproduction. The Toy Center ($998) is a compact, two-way center channel speaker developed to blend sonically and match aesthetically with the form factor of the Toy Monitor and the Toy Tower. The Toy Center's design and small size make it ideal for use with flat panel or projection video systems. Also using a high-performance ring radiator tweeter and dual cellulose cone midrange/bass drivers, the Toy Center is capable of effortlessly reproducing film dialogue with uncanny realism. When the Toy Tower is paired with the Toy Center and Toy Monitor, an exceptional sounding and compact surround sound system can easily be created.
