From the outside, the Tempo 25 looks just like the Tempo VI, but there are multiple internal differences that include a new tweeter, the HHCT2 version we reported on in previous issues and which is used in their more expensive models. The midrange driver has been modified to match the new tweeter, the crossover has been modified and improved to match the new tweeter and woofer, and the binding posts have been upgraded to the WBT NextGen version used in all of the higher end Audio Physic models. The result is a loudspeaker with a smoother and more airy top end and higher resolution throughout the mids and trebles.

The Virgo 25, on the other hand, does look distinctly different from the Virgo V. The 25's design and appearance are inspired by their flagship model, the Cardeas, and has an extruded aluminum front baffle for the midrange and tweeter drivers. The tweeter is decoupled from the cabinet using their proprietary SSC or String Suspension Concept mounting system. All three drivers and the crossover have been somewhat modified to adapt to the new configuration of the Virgo 25. The result is a loudspeaker which sounds like a smaller version of the Cardeas. It is incredibly fast and completely disappears. The soundstage is huge and deep, and the bass is very articulate.
