Audio Physic

In our last issue, we described the first two models of the Audio Physic Classic line to be released, the Classic 10 and Classic 20. (The design features of the Classic line are described fully in that issue.) Now, three new models have been introduced, the Classic Center center channel at $1790, the Classic Compact bookshelf/monitor at $2490, and the Classic 30 floor-stander at $6750.

All three new models share the design goals and sonic characteristics of the Classic 10 and 20. All of the models are suitable for stereo or home theater with the Classic Center, of course, being designed for use in a home theater configuration. The new flagship Classic 30 is an extraordinarily slim and elegant, yet full sounding floor-stander with impressive detail, lifelike dynamics, and deep bass. The Classic 30 uses the same narrow baffle as the Classic 10 but has a deeper enclosure to provide ample cabinet volume for this 3 ˝ way, 5 driver system. The Classic 30 incorporates a 1-inch tweeter, two midranges (a high mid and a low mid) and two bass drivers that have their own sub-enclosure. As with all Audio Physic models, their motto is "No loss of fine detail".
