If you really enjoy listening to your music through headphones, you may have made a significant investment in a pair of high-end headphones to give you the best possible performance for your private listening sessions. The problem is that many headphones come with very ordinary cables that simply don't do justice to the capabilities of the headphones themselves. Fortunately, many modern models have plug-in cables that can be changed to ones which are audiophile-grade. Quality cables make as much difference to the performance of your headphones as high-performance cables do for your loudspeakers.

Enter Kimber Kable with their brand new AXIOS headphone cables. The stranding of the wire used for these cables has been specifically designed for superior headphone performance while minimizing microphonics and vibrations that can detract from sound quality. Sixteen of these special wires are arranged into a braid that starts at the amplifier plug. This 16-wire cable is then carefully separated and braided into two 8-wire leads, one for each ear cup, using a proprietary, in-house-designed machine. This meticulous process eliminates the need for solder joints at the split. AXIOS connectors are beautifully finished with exotic hard woods by Kimber Kable's craftsmen. All connectors are hand soldered to the cables using nitrogen-assisted soldering units to minimize oxidation.

The AXIOS cables come in a variety of different lengths and with connectors to fit most popular brands of headphones. The currently-available model uses all copper wiring, but there will be copper/silver hybrid and pure silver versions available in the fall of 2016.
