NEW PRODUCTS Wavelength Audio
Owners of current Cosecant and Crimson models will be able to upgrade their units to the HS level when the company commences doing those upgrades, probably in the early fall of 2011. We don't have a firm price yet, but something in the neighborhood of $500 for the Cosecant is probably about right. Those interested in upgrades should get in touch with us around that time. In other Wavelength Audio news, all USB DAC models and the WaveLink will now be supplied with a high-quality Audioquest USB cable at no extra cost. The Proton, Brick, and WaveLink will come with a USB Cinnamon, the Cosecant will come with a USB Carbon, and the Crimson will come with a USB Diamond.

Gordon Rankin of Wavelength Audio has been working very hard to complete the design of the Cosecant HS (High Speed) and Crimson HS USB DACs. Shipments of the Cosecant HS have just started, and he expects that the Crimson HS will follow in a few weeks. The HS versions are designed for full support of 24-bit/192KHz sampling rates. Users have been eagerly awaiting these versions of Wavelength Audio's superbly musical USB DAC offerings.
