Magnum Dynalab

Magnum Dynalab has introduced a full line of high-performance, Internet media tuners.

All models in the line-up feature:

• Multiple audio sources include access to over 20,000 Internet radio stations via an on-board Wi-Fi antenna or LAN, access to terrestrial FM, and locally-connected music collections in a variety of formats (including AACs, Real, MP3s, FLAC and WMA).
• Intuitive and simple software allows easy access to your music. Internet radio stations are neatly organized and searchable by various categories including, country of origin, most popular, and favorites. A touch screen displays easy-to-read information on the current track's metadata, genre, bit rate, codec, and sampling rate. Personal audio collections (attached via local network or a USB flash drive or hard drive) are easy to navigate via artist name, album name or genre.

There are four models in this lineup, the MD 801 ($1600), the MD 806T ($2700), the MD 807T ($4500), and the MD 809T ($7500). The models with a T in their name have a triode, vacuum tube output stage. The MD 809T uses a 5.7-inch touch screen display while the other three models have a 3.5-inch display. As you'd expect, the higher end models have more advanced design features and superior parts quality that yield better audio performance, but all four models are designed to give better Internet radio performance than you're likely to find anywhere else.
