Totem has introduced 5 new products in its KIN series, the Kin Play 2-channel active soundbar at $1200, the Kin Solo on-wall AV loudspeaker that replaces the Tribe II at $699, the Kin Force passive 3-channel soundbar at $1250, the Kin Sub 8 subwoofer at $799, and the Kin Sub 10 subwoofer at $1000.

The Kin Play soundbar, a 2-channel, active soundbar can add Totem quality sound to your TV. Just hook it up, and your TV experience will be transformed. This soundbar also has inputs for other audio sources and can even stream high-resolution audio wirelessly from your phone or tablet using Bluetooth 5.0 and Qualcomm aptX HD.

The Kin Solo is a sleek on-wall loudspeaker that measures only 27.5" wide x 5.5" high x 3.5" deep. It possesses the stylish form to match the slim dimensions of today's big screens while yielding fabulous Totem sound quality. It can be used for left/right and center applications, mounted around your on-wall TV. It can also be placed on a table top. It replaces the Tribe II at a much lower price.

The Kin Force is a 3-channel (left/center/right) passive loudspeaker that can be mounted below your TV and be driven by an AV receiver or power amplifier. Each of the three channels features a pair of 4” MHEX woofers, composed of multiple layers of phenolic honeycomb and woven synthetics, to develop powerful bass that defies the slender enclosure. As with the solo, it also possesses the stylish form to match the slim dimensions of today's big screens and Totem's majestic voicing and imaging that connect you to the action.

There are also two new subwoofers, the Kin Sub 8 and Sub 10, with an optional wireless module for the latter. these subwoofers feature cones composed of high tensile, spun fiberglass strands top-coated and bonded to a cellulose core. They are driven by a vented and oversized ferrite magnet assembly and are suspended by a butyl rubber surround. The voice coils are composed of high-temperature, enamel-resin coated-copper wire wound on a vented aluminum former. Bass is powerful, fast, and musical. The Sub 10 is slightly larger overall and bas bass extension down to 27 Hz whereas the Sub 8 performs down to 29 Hz. Either can be used to add substantial bass to the Kin Play soundbar or any other quality loudspeaker.
